Most of our work starts with a phone ringing at an hour nobody wants. A supply line letting go behind a vanity on West 88th. A radiator valve weeping onto a parquet floor in a 1904 brownstone. A co-op board calling because the riser in the B-line is backing up into two apartments at once.

We keep two vans staged on the Upper West Side overnight, so the drive is usually under fifteen minutes. You get a real person on the line, a straight answer about what it'll cost, and a plumber who has almost certainly worked in your building before.

Manhattan plumbing is a history lesson in copper, brass, galvanized steel, and no-hub cast iron — often all four in the same wall. We read the building before we cut into it, and we tell you when a repair is the right call and when it's just delaying a bigger bill.

Rate card

What it costs

  • Standard service call $185 Diagnosis, first hour of labour, and a written quote before any further work. Waived if you approve the repair.
  • Overnight & weekend call $185 Same rate, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday. We don't charge an emergency premium.
  • Drain clearing $225–$480 Sink, tub, or toilet at the low end; main line and stack work at the high end. Camera inspection included when needed.
  • Water heater replacement $1,650–$2,900 Includes removal and disposal of the old unit, new expansion tank, and permit filing. Tankless quoted separately.
  • Boiler service & repair $260–$1,100 Annual tune-up at the low end; circulator, zone valve, and low-water cutoff replacement at the high end.
  • Gas piping & LL152 inspection from $450 Periodic gas piping inspection for buildings with commercial tenants, with the report filed to the DOB.

Parts are billed at cost plus 15%. We take cards, checks, and Zelle on site. For building-wide work we'll put the scope in writing before a single pipe is cut.
